RAW FOODS ...may or may not get your attention but in my opinion it really should. Our bodies pH balance is important and there are ways to make it easier on our bodies to maintain the proper pH. Optimally you should be eating as many raw fruits and raw vegetables as possible. Basically the raw foods class will teach you interesting ways to make delicious meals using fruits and vegetables without cooking them. For example our menu has included making lasagna using zucchini as the pasta, sun dried tomatoes, pesto, nuts in place of cheese.. the end result is a wonderful meal made with good intentions!
According to Dr. Shinya we are born with a bank of enzymes and the aging process is really a result of those enzymes being depleted. We believe raw fruits and vegetables offer the most nutritional value and increase our "bank of enzymes". If we neglect to replenish our enzymes, as we age, they become depleted. Our later years will be a reflection and consequence of how we prepare for them.
